Visual representation of the Inner Colonies
The Inner Colonies is the name given group of 11 worlds which make up the closest Colonies to Earth.
Government[]
Each Colony is governed separately by it's own Regional Government, referred to as "Regional Colonial Administrations" by the United Nations Colonial Command. However, the Central Colonial Government retains power over all Colonies (excluding Tauron), however in practise most decisions are made by the Regional Government.
Some Colonies may further divide government into separate regions, for example, the Colony of Picon has 6 regional administrations, referred to on the surface as other nations. This has led to some friction with the Central Colonial Government, which two of Picons Nations, New France and Atlantia refusing to follow the Central Government on many issues, including Healthcare and taxes.
